Luis Castellanos

Founding partner of Alten Energías Renovables, he read Business Studies at the Commercial University of Deusto and for the seven years prior to setting up Alten, he worked at Lazard, an international investment bank providing financial consultancy services in mergers and acquisitions, working with a range of customers: RWE, Thames Water, Gas Natural, ACS, Isolux, Acciona, HBG, Telefónica, Ros Casares, Recoletos, Aguas de Valencia, many private equity funds, etc. Luís has been leading the development, investment, construction and operation of all Alten projects since 2006, with a total investment of €240m, funded with equity and six project finance schemes with many banks and other financial entities.
